When was the last time you did something nice for yourself or took yourself out on a date or went on a road trip solo? When was the last time you put on a pair of pink heart shaped glasses, donned a unicorn ring, and sipped a cocktail out of a swirly heart straw?? I know Covid has changed the way we spend our time, but you can't let a pandemic define you or limit your exposure to the brighter side of life. We must find creative ways to recharge and have some fun. We are reaching the year anniversary from when the world came to a halt and we were quarantined and mandated to distance ourselves socially. During that time we experienced a lot of hardship, loss, ups and downs, a lot of uncertainty and stress, financial struggle, and emotional exhaustion. BUT ... People have come together differently and we're making more conscious choices based on what truly matters. We weren't expecting such a traumatic plight, but for some of us, we had gotten a little too comfortable in our every day lives so it was just the thing we needed to realign with what matters most; family, friendships, integrity, patience, humanity, being kind and generous, doing the right thing, taking time to be outside, and loving with an open heart. This kind of change turned us inside out and asked us to show up in more meaningful ways. We were asked to step in to our shadows and break down our unforgiving mindsets and old controlling behaviors. We were asked to show up and step into the light and for many of us that required an immense amount of energy and emotional reserve. If you're tired, you should be. You've worked hard. Now take some time to celebrate and rejoice in this new beginning and be prepared for greatness. This new chapter you're beginning is going to be extraordinary. The picture I posted above is just a reminder to not take life too seriously and to do something fun and silly every once in a while. I will be taking this weekend for me; to rest, to have fun, and to celebrate the new chapter I'm writing. No live stream this Sunday, February 28th, but I'll see you on the mat the following Saturday, March 6th. Love & Light, BeAnne 🖤🖤🖤 Let's be the LOVE the world needs.
