Happy Mother's Day

To the beautiful women who have been blessed with children, be thankful and appreciate every little moment. Squeeze them tight and let them know how much you love them and how happy you are to be their mom. 

To the women who nurture and care for animals or family members or friends or nature, your heart is gorgeous and I admire your acts of kindness and generosity. 

To the goddesses who made the intentional decision to not have children, I admire you for honoring your truth and for all the love you give to others. 

To those of who you have lost their mother, the heartache is real. Honor her today and hold sacred the memories you shared. 

To those who never knew their mom, I'm truly sorry. I can't even imagine. I just hope and pray that you have found another source of maternal presence to love, nurture and support you emotionally. 

To those who can't be with their mom, call her and tell her how much you love and miss her and how much you appreciate all that she does for you. 

To those of you who may have wanted kids and somehow missed the opportunity or were not able to conceive, trust that you are exactly where you are meant to be and then find another way to mother and nurture. Perhaps your love and tender heart is needed elsewhere. Perhaps your own inner child. She needs you too. 

To those of you who are parenting alone, it's hard and exhausting, but you are doing it and I think you're killing it even if nobody ever tells you. 

And to those beautiful women who have lost a child, there are no words. You will grieve for the rest of your life and I will hold your heart tenderly and lovingly for as long as I live. Be gentle with yourself this weekend and know that you are dearly loved. 

I waited a really long time to meet my girl and now I just want to soak in every moment I get to spend with her so no live stream Sunday. I will, however, be teaching in person at Plum Tree on Monday, May 10th. Would love to see you on the mat.

Motherhood is deep and personal and affects everyone differently, but it’s the divine feminine that we celebrate this weekend. 

Take time to be present with the ones you love and pay special attention to our precious Earth Mother. Let us hold her in the light today and every day.
